Nanjing Global Organic Food Research and Consulting Center (OFRC) founded in 1999, is the first registered organic farming research and consulting organization in China. Based on our achievements and experiences, OFRC is taking efforts to make greater contribution to the sustainable development of agriculture and environment protection industry. Combining with professors, research fellows and advisors in our expert group (the members will increase to 100 well-known domestic and foreign experts); OFRC can provide technology service in the fields of organic agriculture, eco-agriculture, environment protection and ecological management. 　　　OFRC has achieved a lot by the joint effort of our entire consultants. It has made great contributions to the development of Chinese organic food industry in a rapid and health way. OFRC has 
  (1)consulted and instructed over 300 producing enterprises and bases of organic products; 
  (2)yielded a rich achievement in technological study of organic rice, vegetable, tea, fruit, soybean, animal culture, market exploration and research on policy for organic food; 
  (3)firstly advocated compiling regional planning for organic agriculture development; and formulated organic food planning for prefecture level and the territory of province; 
  (4)issued more than 80 papers on organic agriculture in periodicals both in and abroad; published 5 monographs on organic farming; 
  (5)invited as consulting experts by WWF,GTZ,IFAD, AMBER Foundation, Sino-Holland Cooperation, Program in Guizhou Province supported by Canada, etc.; 
  (6)been the technical adviser for organic production bases of America Nutrilite —the famous nutrients enterprise.

Taking charge of the following subjects:
(1) The comparative study of energy, matter and economy flows between organic and conventional strawberry and vegetables production systems ( cooperated with UCSC, 1992-1995);
(2) The comparative study of organic and inorganic wheat production systems ( subsidized by WINROCK INTERNATIONAL, 1992- 1995);
(3) Studies of organic crop growing techniques: rice, vegetable, fruit，soybean and tea (1995-2005);
(4) As an organic farming consultant, I have given advisory services to more than 300 farms to help them converting to organic farming and more than 10,000 farmers have received my face to face training on organic farming (1999- )
(5) As a trainer, I gave two batches training course on organic farming to agriculture technicians in Bangladesh, May 6 to 18, 2000.
(6) As invited organic farming experts, working for projects of WWF, GTZ , IFAD , Nutrilite and Amber foundation and so on in China (1999-)
(7) Designing regional organic food developing planning for local governments such as Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Guiyang Municipality, Panjing Municipality and so on( 2002-2006)
(8) Organic Farming Development in China (Sino-German GTZ project, 1998-2003, responsible for instruction the pilot village to convert to organic farming ( Kiwi and tea), and for establishing advisory service and information system in China for organic food development)

(1) Visiting Agroecology and Sustainable Food Center of UCSC in 1994, from July to August, to discuss cooperated subject and learn on organic agriculture and agro- ecology.
(2) Attending a seminar of "Marketing and Management of Exporting Food Ingredient and Organic Food Products to West European Markets", from June 2 to 13, 1997, which was hold by CBI of the Netherlands at Rotterdam.
(3) Attending the first IFOAM-Asia international inspector training workshop in April, Nanjing,1998.
(4) Attending “ organic inspection and certification training workshop, June 26 to July 1, Bangkok, 1998”.
(5) Visiting Germany for studying its consulting and extension system of organic agriculture, February 16 to March 6, 1999.
(6) Visiting Japan for IFOAM-Asia Program " Alternative Marketing for Organic Food", Oct.10-19, 2000.
(7) Attending all the IFOAM-Asia and IFOAM Scientific Conferences since 1999.

— From 1999, supported by Sino-GTZ project- “Developing Organic Farming in China”, I established the first professional organic consulting organization in China - Nanjing Global Organic Food Research and Consulting Center (OFRC) .Up to now, there are 8 staff in OFRC which is the authoritative consulting organization in China and we have worked for more than 300 farms and companies for organic conversion and certification, and invited by international programs such as WWF, IFAD, Amber Foundation, GTZ，Nutrilite and so on, I worked as advisory expert for their organic projects. OFRC has its “Agricultural Expert Groups” networking all over China.
